Kids Ministry
Sundays
On Sundays during worship, your kids are invited to join us for Sunday School, for ages 3 through 4th grade. The nursery is also open beginning at 9am for children up to 3 years old.
Children check-in on Sundays is easy once you have created a profile in our Church Center app.
To create a Church Center login, follow these steps:
- Download the Church Center app from the App Store or Google Play
- Select First Presbyterian Lake Forest and enter your mobile number
- You’ll receive a code to log in
- On the Home tab, tap the circle with your initial in the top right corner
- Under My Profile & Settings, verify the information for you and your family members
- Add photos to each profile, if you’d like
- Then go to Calendar to see what’s coming up or Sign-ups to register for anything of interest
Children’s Choir
Our children’s choirs welcome children age 5 through 6th grade. The children participate in worship monthly. No previous musical experience is required. All are welcome! Practice runs September 10, 2025 through April 12, 2026.
- Children age 5 through 1st Grade sing in our Cherub Choir, which meets on Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:10pm.
- Children grades 2 through 6 are in our Carol Choir, which meets on Wednesdays from 4:00 – 4:45pm.
All children will gather together with their families in the Sanctuary for “Family Worship” 4:30 – 4:45pm.
First Pres Preschool
First Presbyterian Preschool has proudly served Lake Forest for over 60 years embracing its strong reputation for initiating a lifetime love of learning for young children. With over 50 students, we’re proud of our low teacher to student ratio in all four classes and a combined 134 years of teaching experience between the 14 teachers on staff.
