There are several committees at the core of our church and active participation from members ensures the church operates efficiently and spiritually. Typically, members serve on committees for a year beginning in August. If you’re interested in joining a committee, please fill out our form.

Adult Ministry

Provides the opportunities and resources for adults to grow in faith and deepen their relationship with God.  Opportunities include creating devotionals, Bible studies, small groups, guest speakers, retreats, trips, and other special events.

All Church Nominating Committee

Annually prepares and presents a slate of nominations for election of ruling elders and deacons from among active members of the congregation at the Annual Meeting, taking into consideration the demographics of members to best represent diversity of age, gender and faith journeys.

Buildings & Grounds

Works to preserve the real estate assets which make up our campus keeping in mind safety, comfort and preservation.

Children’s Ministry

Responsible for all religious education and programs for children from birth through 4th grade.

Communications Committee

Supports the church’s mission and ministry by ensuring accurate, consistent, and welcoming communication—both within the congregation and to the wider community. This includes digital, print, and spoken communications that reflect the values and voice of the church.

Finance Committee

Stewards of the church’s finances, providing support for the operating and strategic initiatives of the Session and conducting other relevant fiduciary duties on behalf of the Session, church staff and the church community at large.

Membership Committee

Serves as a contact point and welcoming presence for visitors and those interested in becoming a member of our church.

Mission Committee

Assesses the needs of our mission partners and provides financial, social, emotional and/or service support for those within our community and beyond.

Personnel Committee

Works to recruit candidates and build a staff that supports the overall mission of the church and ensures a healthy environment in which to work.

Worship and Music Committee

Provides meaningful worship for the congregation through sacraments and sacred music and the arts, guided by the Book of Order’s “Directory for Worship.”

Youth Ministry

This committee is responsible for the education of our young adults beginning in middle school through adulthood.
